few little secrets and tips that we have learned over the
years.
Q:
How do I decide what kind of fence
I need?
A: First you must ask yourself what is the
job of your fence? For instance, is it decorative privacy?
Is it holding in my animals or children? Is it intended to
keep some one or something out? Then you can explore your
options on fences that will accomplish that job.
Q:
How do I ask for exactly what
I want?
A: Fences
are measured in lineal feet or running
feet so if you wanted a chain link fence colored green for
example you would ask for 230' of 5' tall green residential
chain link with one walk gate and 3 corners. Its important
to give the number of corners on chain link because it will
require extra hardware every time it turns stops or starts.
Corners are also important in fences like split rail and
vinyl
rail fencing because they take different’t post for
corners and ends.
Q:
How do I know you are a reputable
company?
A: We are pleased to give you a reference list if
requested. We are members of the Washington State Building
Industry Association, we are also licensed, bonded and insured.
We guarantee all the fences we build.
Q:
What is the life expectancy of
a wood fence?
A: As we live in a wet area of the country, the
average
life of treated wood is 12 to 20 years. We recommend using
a sealant or stain on your wood fence.
Q:
Do you make dog runs? (Kennels)
A: Kennels are one of our specialties. We stock 6'x6'
and 12'x6' sizes, or we can make any kennel or gate size you
need.
Q: Can you install automated gates?
A: We will install power gates for residential and
light industrial jobs. There are many options for powered
gates including, 2 way communication to the house. We do these
jobs but they need to be discussed in detail with you so we
may determine your specific needs.
Q: Can we purchase materials only?
A: We have a huge inventory of fence material and
are priced to compete or beat anybody's prices in our area.
We can also show you how to build your fence right.
Q: Do you build tennis and sport
court enclosure fences?
A: All the time. We also can send you to local sites
where you can check the quality of our work. We also build
baseball backstops and dugouts.
Q: Do you cement the fence posts?
A: Yes, the style and height of the fence will determine
how deep and how far apart we set the posts. Wind load on
your fence is a primary concern.
Q: Does chain link fence come in
other colors?
A: Yes, besides the standard galvanized it can also
be ordered in black, brown, green and white. Another option
is to order it with just vinyl covered colored wire and galvanized
pipe. These changes however, will increase the price somewhat,
as the colors cost more.
Q: Does it cost to get an estimate?
A: No our quotes
are free.
Q: What is the difference between
ornamental iron and ornamental aluminum?
A: They are both top line beautiful fences and are
comparable in cost. The main difference is that aluminum never
rusts.
Q: Do you carry P.V.C Fencing?
A: There are as many vinyl fencing options as there
are wood options. From picket to privacy and even horse rail
fencing. We carry them all. However, they are more expensive
than wood, but will never rot or need painting, and have a
lifetime product warranty.
Q: Do you accept Credit Cards?
A: Yes, We accept Visa and MasterCard.
Q: Are you really nice people that
I will like if I meet?
A: You bet we are!
